Holiday home with friends

We left Fremantle and went to Yallingup to meet some friends called Val, Stew, Lilli,  Jo, Sam, Justin, Jordy and Danny.   Val and Stu are old friends of my Nan and Grandad who grew up together and used to go on family holidays together.  So it was great to be on a family holiday with their grandchildren 50 years later!
When we arrived Lilli, Sam, Jo and Stew were leaving to got to the animal farm and so they invited me to go with them. We bought some carrots and headed towards the bunnies and rabbits. We were allowed to hold the rabbits and bunnies we fed them and then went on. We went to play on the dodgems which made you very dizzy. We went on the bouncy castle and a play area. Once we had finished all of that we went to feed the llamas and goats. They were very greedy and naughty.

We got back in the car and headed back home. When we were home we found that Dad, Fin and Jordy had gone surfing so we had lunch and relaxed at the house. Lilli showed us around. There was a snake hole outside the house (it was quite big). We had dinner at a fish and chips restaurant and played some games at home and then went to bed.

We woke up very early with my alarm screaming loudly, I forgot to turn it off!  Dad cooked breakfast on the barbecue and then we  went to play crazy golf but unfortunately it was sooo busy! So instead we went into town and got an ice cream. I had a Malteser ice cream and my tooth fell out (there was ALOT of blood). We went home. On the way we stopped at a horse riding area and booked a time to go horse riding. At the house we played some badminton, Lilli and me verses Fin and Sam. We didn’t play for long because we got interrupted by a kangaroo – it was so cute. We had dinner and the kids had to go to bed but the adults and teens played chuck the balls and they went EVERYWHERE! Dad gave us a “bedtime story” with him in a washing basket pretending he was in a boat (it was extremely funny 😉).

The next day. We had breakfast and went to the beach for a walk and played football. Once we had finished we went into town and the men went for a drink and the women went for a shop. Lilli and I got a friendship bracelet each we went to the sweet shop and got some sweets and then joined the men and got a chocolate milkshake. We went back home and drove to the stables. We had booked the wrong thing but we still did it. I didn’t have anyone leading me so I had to do everything. My horse was called Rascal!  Lilli and Sam were lead along the paths we did it for about an hour. Once we were finished we gave our horses some bread and carrots. Mum and Jo arrived and took us home we told everyone what we did.

We had a BBQ and played pie face. You use squirty cream, it was so hot the cream was melting!

The next day Danny, Jordy and Justin had to go home. We got a group photo and said good bye and safe journey and they were gone. We went to the beach with the kayak and stand up paddle board and sun bathed. I took Lilli out on our kayak and she took me out on the stand up paddle board. We went too far out at sea so Dad swam over to us and Fin kayaked to us (it turned out it was a very long way in and we had been blown out to sea in the wind). We made a sand sofa for Fin, Lilli and me to chill in, but it ended up with Fin buried. The wind picked up so we went home. I went in the shower to get the sea water and sand of me. We went to crazy golf but this time sadly it had shut so instead Fin and Sam did a laser tag and Lilli Fin and I went on the Segways. That was brilliant!  We got a bouncy ball each and an ice cream. Dad made us dinner that night it was risotto. Sam thought at the start of the meal that he didn’t like peas but at the end he loved peas.

Sunday was our last full day with them so we went to the beach. There were massive waves so we had to swim in between the lifeguards. Later on in the day it got too hot so we had to go home. Mum, Dad, Fin and I packed up our clothes and put them in our suit case and rucksacks. We were ready to go camping.
